Six blocks from The Guggenheim you’ll find a small and cozy restaurant called 1742 Wine Bar. I’ve been here for countless date-nights with my husband. On their website you can see the standing offer of dinner and a bottle of wine for two people for only $30! You can check Groupon for even more offers. Every time I go there I order the California style pizza- I think it’s my Mediterranean side that rules that decision. Sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, mushrooms and goat cheese. Need I say more?
