What locals are saying . . .

The museum is located in a beautiful building on Central Park West near 77th street. The New-York Historical Society was founded back in 1804. The exhibit is in celebration of the 20th anniversary of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone being published in the U.S. It contains century-old treasures including rare books, manuscripts, and magical objects from the collections of the British Library and New-York Historical Society—with original material from Harry Potter publisher and J.K. Rowling’s own archives.
