Terms and Conditions

Jaunt is a local discovery service where curated locals publish neighborhood itineraries ("Jaunts") and members can browse, save, and remix them. Recommendations reflect our curators' opinions and experiences. Venues change, close, and vary, so use your own judgment when you head out.

You need an account to save or remix Jaunts. Keep your login credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 to use Jaunt.

Jaunt offers a free plan and a paid membership. A free account can browse every stop on every Jaunt, and gets one Jaunt of its own (created or remixed) and one save, for keeps. Paid membership ($7.99/month, or $5.99/month billed annually) includes unlimited creating, remixing, and saving.

Billing.Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel any time from your account settings, and your membership stays active through the end of the period you've paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Changes.We may adjust pricing or plan features. If we change the price of your subscription, we'll notify you in advance and the change will apply at your next renewal.

When you publish a Jaunt or remix, you keep ownership of what you create. You grant Jaunt a license to host, display, and share your published content within the service. That's what makes it visible to other members. Don't publish content you don't have the right to share, and don't post anything unlawful, hateful, or abusive. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Remixing an existing Jaunt creates your own version. Published remixes credit the original. By publishing a Jaunt, you agree that other members may remix it.

Place details (addresses, hours, photos) come from our curators and third-party sources including Google Places. We work to keep things accurate but can't guarantee it. Always check before you go.

Don't scrape, copy, or redistribute Jaunt content at scale; don't attempt to access other users' accounts or data; don't use Jaunt to spam or harass; don't interfere with the operation of the service.

Jaunt is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Jaunt is not responsible for your experiences at third-party venues.

You can stop using Jaunt or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and notify you of significant changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use Jaunt after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
